Welcome to UCBCares for hidradenitis suppurativa

If you’re living with hidradenitis suppurativa, you’re not alone.

xx

Hidradenitis suppurativa (HS) is a chronic inflammatory skin disease that can make everyday activities like sitting down, sleeping, or walking difficult – and extremely painful. It’s an uncommon disease but not a rare one, though it’s not well known.

Our goal at UCB is to support patients with HS and those who care for them to live well with the condition. On this site you will find information on symptoms, diagnosis, treatment and more to help you make informed decisions about how to manage your condition and how to speak with a dermatologist specialised in treating HS.

"You sit down and it’s just like this striking pain that just goes up through your body and you just jump off your seat."

Sharon, living with HS in Ireland
